Recombinant production of antigens in – depending on the protein characteristics – various systems where prokaryotic or eukaryotic cells are used. Therefore, thanks to our modern digester, up to 30 liters of bacterial culture and its related protein quantity can be generated within a very short period of time.
Protein purification from complete lysates: Classical procedures like ion exchange-, reversed phase- or gel sieve-chromatography are used as well as the application of affinity chromatography.
Highly purified proteins are used as positive controls as well as capture antigens in diagnostic test systems such as antigens for immunization of laboratory animals in the preparation of the production of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. These trials can be conducted independently by tgcBIOMICS or in close cooperation with its partners.
